Red Letter Day is a name synonymous with 20 years of independently produced music, melding multi-instrumental talents, and prolific songwriting. Suzanna Mallow and Andrea Jones started Red Letter Day and began writing music together in 1990. There really is no better way to describe the Red Letter Day experience…moving effortlessly between genres of alt rock to funky country, to (always) folk influenced and all with lots of harmony and heart. Red Letter Day balances out a show usually with a bit of harmonica, saxophone, percussion, acoustic guitar and electric guitar all distinctly different in sound and delivery. Suzanna and AJ performed nationally for fifteen years as Red Letter Day, with an edge bordering more on raw soul sharing due to influences from a gospel, soul and blues/rock background.
