This Friday night we welcome STORM OVER SEATTLE to The Pond at 10pm!  It’s their first time  at The Pond and we know they are going to rock!   We also welcome back Rocky Allen at 6pm on Friday.  Two very different sounds, both very awesome!  And, once again, The Pond has teamed up with Rehoboth Ale House, Cooter Brown’s & Blackwall Hitch for our “FIRST FRIDAY BEER DINNER” on March 6th.  We have partnered with Cape May Brewery which has just entered Delaware.  Click HERE for our menu. 

Saturday is the return of Plot Twist to The Pond.  Our Sunday Afternoon Music Series continues with Keith White Duo at 4pm.  And of course, Lower Case Blues owns Sunday night at 9pm!

First Friday Progressive Beer Dinner, February 7th

With the addition of FIVE NEW TVs (now we have 13), you can enjoy ALL the Sunday NFL games at The Pond every Sunday!  In addition to our great NFL Menu, we have fun contests including SPIN THE WEEK and POND PLINKO during the 1pm games!  For the 4pm games, ALL OF OUR WINGS are HALF PRICE! Our Daily Specials for Summer 2019

Mondays at The Pond have been 1/2 price Burgers & Wings night for as long as we can remember.  Definitely more than 20 years now and probably more like 30 years.   After much research and discussion, we have concluded, very reluctantly, that we no longer can offer the 1/2 price wings special.
 
While we continue to see the cost of a case of wings increase, we have tried to hold our prices down, absorbing much of the increased cost.  Since 2002, the cost of a case of wings has quadrupled (at one point two years ago, the cost of a case of wings was nearly six times what it was in 2002).  The Pond has made a great effort to continue to offer the 1/2 price wings special on Mondays.  But we have determined that we no longer can offer this special.  Believe me, this was a very painful decision. 
 
We also will be offering 1/2 price Burger Baskets on Mondays.  You still will be able to choose any burger on our menu, including our fabulous black bean burger.  All baskets will include a side of chips.  With these changes, we hope to end the cash only policy we had to institute.

Meet Chef Darryn Gray Happy Hour

The Pond is excited to introduce our new executive chef Darryn Gray and debut our new Happy Hour Menu on Wednesday, April 10th from 5pm to 7pm. 

Our new Happy Hour menu will be discounted by 50% during this event.  This Happy Hour menu will change frequently, from different BBQ sauces for the quarter baby rack of ribs, to different Pond Sliders and Pond skewers.  In this way, we can keep the menu fresh and try out new ideas!   We look forward to seeing you on Wednesday at 5pm!

Meet Executive Chef Darryn Gray

Raised in Bear, Delaware, Darryn Gray grew up in close knit family that didn’t need an excuse to have friends and family over for dinner.  For Darryn, food was simply a necessity at first, often cooking something after school.  Soon food became a fascination, as Darryn wanted to expand his knowledge to different cultures’ and regions’ cuisine. 

Darryn began his restaurant adventures at Camp Arrowhead in Lewes, Delaware, washing dishes.  After being  a server at numerous restaurants and managing Freddy Wraps in Newark, Delaware,  Darryn realized his love of food and decided to go to culinary school.  He graduated from The Art Institute of Philadelphia in 2011, doing his work study at Harry’s Savoy Grill.  After numerous kitchen jobs, he eventually became the head chef of the Dupont Memorial House, an overnight retreat house located in downtown Rehoboth Beach.  At the Dupont Hosue, he would craft his style of classic southern American food with ethnic influences. 

Being a patron on of The Pond since moving to Rehoboth Beach. Darryn is excited to take on the position of Executive Chef and to contribute to the already stellar reputation of the Rehoboth’s favorite locals bar & grill!
